Your License to Peoplemaven
PeopleMaven allows users to post content including images, comments, likes, and links. PeopleMaven users retain ownership of any intellectual property rights in the content that is uploaded or stored on PeopleMaven.
As between you and PeopleMaven, you own the content and information that you submit or post to PeopleMaven ("Services") and grant PeopleMaven the following non-exclusive license: a worldwide, transferable and sublicensable right to use, copy, modify, distribute, publish, and process, information and content that you provide through our Services, without any further consent, notice and/or compensation to you or others.
In other words, if you post your content on PeopleMaven, it still belongs to you, but we can show it to people and others can save it without any notice or compensation to you or others.
These rights are limited in the following ways:
PeopleMaven respects the intellectual property and other proprietary rights of others. We expect our users to do the same. PeopleMaven, may in appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, remove content, disable access, or terminate access of users that appears to infringe the copyright or other intellectual property rights of others.
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond to copyright infringement claims on PeopleMaven that are reported to our designated copyright agent listed below. You can read more about the DMCA at the US Copyright Office website.
If you’re a copyright owner or rights agent, you can report alleged copyright infringements on PeopleMaven by completing our Content Removal Form.
When we get your removal notice, we’ll take appropriate action, which may include removing the reported content from PeopleMaven. We may notify the user who saved your copyrighted content on PeopleMaven so they have an opportunity to send a counter-notice. We may also send a complete copy of the notice to others, as appropriate.

DMCA Copyright Complaint Notification
If you’ve gotten a notification that your PeopleMaven content has been removed, it means the content owner asked us to remove it. If you want a copy of the official complaint, just email us at email@example.com.
If you receive too many copyright complaints, we may disable your ability to create new content on PeopleMaven or disable your account altogether.
DMCA Counter Claim
After receiving the official complaint, you may resolve the matter directly with the party that made the claim. If you are able to resolve the matter with the claimant, please have them contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to retract their notice.
